Centrico is located in the heart of Tribeca–with a wrap-around full-service terrace overlooking Franklin Street and West Broadway.  Its warm, festive atmosphere is enhanced by vibrant colors and a Mayan-inspired mural.  Designed by Pulice-Williams, the space reflects classic Tribeca architectural style with its airy 15 foot ceilings and wall-to-wall windows.  A hammered zinc bar winds along one wall offering hand-crafted cocktails, including several margaritas. An open kitchen permits guests a view of the young chef at work.

The son of celebrated Mexican cooking authority Zarela Martinez, Aarón Sánchez is one of the country’s leading contemporary Latin chefs.

Aarón is the chef and co-owner of the new restaurant Centrico, which he recently opened with renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent. At Centrico Aarón goes back to his roots to cook the Mexican food of his childhood. Aarón is also the chef and owner of the popular Paladar, where he serves Latin American cuisine on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. As the former co-host of Food Network’s ‘Melting Pot’, Aarón introduced a national audience to his technique and creativity with contemporary interpretations of classic Latino cuisine.
